Each ALQP Passport incorporates a mix of reading, training and activities based on the role. Recognition of Prior Learning is available.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an integral part of the Leadership qualifications. Information regarding RPL is contained within the Passports.

A Learning Partner assists a new Leader to obtain their Unit Leader or Assistant Unit Leader qualification. 

To be a Learning Partner you must attend the Learning Partner Learning Program, refer to Courses for the next training dates. 

The Learning Partner is appointed by the District or Region Manager.

An Outdoor Skills Assessor assist Leaders to obtain Outdoor Modules.

To be an Outdoor Skills Assessor you must hold the module that you are assessing and have significant experience. 

The Outdoor Skills Assessor is appointed by the Outdoors Manager by recommendation of the Region Manager.

The Outdoor Modules follow a similar pattern to the ALQP Passports with reading, training, activities and reflections and they are assessed by Outdoor Skills Assessors.
